Florida Community Loan Fund is pleased to share that our immediate-past retired CEO Ignacio Esteban and Vice Board Chair Germaine Smith-Baugh, Ed.D., President & CEO of the Urban League of Broward County, received the NeighborWorks America Visionary Leader Award. This prestigious recognition celebrates their exceptional service and visionary leadership in advancing affordable housing and expanding opportunities for communities across Florida.
Esteban’s award was received by Board Member Alecia Dillon at the awards ceremony held on August 10, 2026, in Miami. Dr. Smith-Baugh also accepted her award that night. Additional FCLF representatives that evening included Board Member Alfred Arzuaga, Board Member Claire Raley, Chief Operating and Strategic Initiatives Officer Lori Crane, Development Officer Rich Rollason, and Loan Portfolio Manager Jennifer Rainey.
